Thomas Clarke Obituary
Thomas E. Clarke Sr; 72, passed away in his home on March 27, 2023. Born on August 5, 1951, in Warwick Virginia, Thomas is the son of the late Edwin Clarke and Amanda Elizabeth (Kellett) Frost. He left this world to join his sister Gail Carter, wife Renee Clarke, and eldest son Thomas Clarke Jr, in paradise. He leaves behind two children, Lechia (Clarke) Lemoi, Jason Clarke and six grandchildren; Samantha Marie Clarke-Medeiros (Dominic Medeiros), Nicholas Clarke, Anthony Lemoi, Kristina Lemoi, Elizabeth Clarke and Kaylee Clarke as well as several beloved nieces and nephews.
Thomas dedicated his life to serving his country, along with those who served with him. Thomas served in the US Air Force from 1969-1979 when he was honorably discharged. He then worked odd jobs for a few years in his local community in Rhode Island until he began work at the VA, where he worked until he medically retired and moved to Gloversville, NY.
Per the family's wishes Thomas was to be cremated and a Celebration of Life Service will take place at a later date and will be announced.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY 12078.
In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Thomas may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
