Thomas P. Clunk, 61, of Woodstock, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Tom was born on February 22, 1964, in Kokomo, Indiana. In 1984, he began a lifelong journey with his beloved partner, Sandy "Sam" Sweo. The two officially married on August 12, 2017, and together built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and shared memories. They were blessed with two children, Nick and Heather, who were the pride of Tom's life.
Tom devoted nearly 30 years to Sepia Sun Water Beds, working in delivery. He had a passion for snow plowing, working on cars, loud music and racing in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. He also cherished time spent outdoors and had a deep appreciation for nature and music.
Those who will forever hold Tom in their hearts include his loving wife, Sandy "Sam" Sweo; his children, Nicholas Sweo and Heather Lapine; and his brother, Jeff Clunk (Kim Clunk).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Jerry Clunk.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 10, from 1-4 p.m. at Kingston Lanes in Woodstock, Illinois. A fundraiser in support of his loved ones will also take place on Saturday, May 31, at 4 p.m. the same location.
