Thomas Cohea, 75, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025. Visitation will be held at Ridgecrest Baptist Church, 711 Culver Street in Commerce, Texas from 11:00 am until noon on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. Funeral services will immediately follow beginning at noon with Pastor Jason Castleberry officiating.
Thomas was born in Dallas, Texas, on February 25, 1950, to Steve Cohea and Pansy Pearl Elizabeth Eddy, who preceded him in death. He married Glenda Westbrook on March 30, 1979 in Dallas, Texas. They were married for 46 years.
Survivors include his wife Glenda of Dallas; his daughters Christina and her husband Jason Castleberry of Plevna, Montana, and Glenda Mathies of Dallas; son Steve Thomas Cohea; brothers David Cohea of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Danny Cohea of Dallas; his grandchildren, Justin Castleberry of Commerce, Texas; Savanna Castleberry of Sulphur Springs, Texas; Kody Mathies of Dallas; Dakota Mathies of Tool, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Thomas is preceded in death by his sister Pansy Cohea, brothers William and Robert Cohea and brothers-in-law Bobby and Benny Westbrook.
Pallbearers will be Justin Castleberry, Dakota Mathies, Chester Westbrook, Richard Westbrook, Zachery, and Jordan Westbrook.
A private burial will be held at Long Cemetery, Cumby, Texas.
