Mr. Thomas Lundy "T.L." Coleman, Sr., 87, beloved husband of Mrs. Diane Beard Coleman, entered into rest on Sunday, August 4, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Fannie Bell Prince Coleman, a brother, Cecil Coleman, and a stepson, Brad Davis.
The family will greet friends on Thursday, August 8, 2024, beginning at 10 o'clock at Hillview Baptist Church, 1974 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC 29829. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 11 o'clock, with Pastor Mike McAlpin officiating. A private interment will follow in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, Trenton, S.C. Pallbearers will be Tad Coleman, Brad Coleman, Brantley Coleman, Mason Burris, Chad Coleman, and Tanner Coleman.
Left to cherish his memory, along with his wife, are his children, Kathy C. Shore (Bob), of Holliston, Massachusetts, Jan Coleman, of Vaucluse, SC, Tina Coleman, Cayce, SC, Thomas Lundy "Tad" Coleman, Jr. (Sharen), of Montmorenci, SC, and Brad Coleman (Joni), of Cayce, SC; his step-daughter, Dawn Davis, of Spartanburg, SC; his sisters and brothers, Miriam Rodgers (Billy), of Ridge Spring, SC, Archie Coleman (Wanda), of North Augusta, SC, and Sara Barton (Gary), of Rome, GA; six grandchildren, Laura Dellicker, Anna Dellicker, Karen Anderson (Bryan), Thomas Lundy "Chad" Coleman, III (Morgan), Tanner Coleman (Allison), and Sydney Coleman and four great-grandchildren, Brantley and Natalie Coleman, Mason Burris, and Salim Dellicker.
Mr. Coleman was born in Trenton, SC. He was the manager of Graniteville Company's Woodhead Division with forty-plus years of service and a member of Hillview Baptist Church, Graniteville, SC. T. L. loved the many dogs that he had over the years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and traveling with Diane, but he especially loved spending time with his family.
Considering T.L.'s love of beautiful flowers, floral tributes will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Hillview Baptist Church, 1910 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC 29829.
