Thomas S. Cone, Jr., 97 of Nazareth, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at his residence. Born Saturday, April 17, 1926 in Audubon, NJ, he was the son of the late Thomas S. Cone Sr., and the late Marion (Meyers) Cone. He was the husband of the late Rose (Marshall) Cone, with whom he shared 58 loving years of marriage before her passing in 2009.
After graduating from Audubon High School, Thomas served in the Navy. He was a Veteran in World War ll, earning the rank of RM2C before being honorably discharged in 1946. He then attended Temple University and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. Thomas worked for a short time at RCA Record Company before starting at Honeywell as their business Supervisor. He would work for the company for 30+ years before retiring in 1986. In his free time, Thomas loved to play golf, and go fishing. He also enjoyed playing Pinochle, and spending time at the American Legion, in Easton.
Survivors: daughter, Maryellen Lynn of Nazareth, PA.,grandsons, Shawn Lynn and wife Kelsey of ME, Jesse Lynn and wife Alison of Nashville, TN, and Nikolas Lynn and wife Cailyn of Nutley, NJ, great-granddaughter Charolette Lynn of Nutley NJ. He was predeceased by his sister Marion Sensor.
Future Memorial Services to be announced at a later date, along with future Interment at Sunset Memorial Park. Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Center Street, Nazareth, PA, 18064, has been entrusted with his care and service.
Memorial Contributions may made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Center for Animal Health & Welfare, both care of the funeral home.
