Thomas Conley Obituary
WATERLOO/WISCONSIN - Thomas (Tom) Patrick Conley, 79, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024, in Fond du Lac, WI.
Tom was born on March 24, 1945 in Troy, N.Y. He was the son of the late William Thomas Conley and Anna Mae (Bailey) Conley-Litzenberger. He attended St. Mary's School, was a 1963 graduate of Waterloo Central School, attended Auburn Community College and R.I.T. in Rochester, N.Y. Tom worked several years at Goulds Pumps as a Supervisor of Printing in the Communications Department and retired from Ron Ink Co. as a Printing Consultant in Sales.
As a young boy, Tom was an altar boy for many years at St. Mary's Church. He participated on many church committees throughout his life. He was an assistant Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop 74 and a member of the Finger Lakes and WI chapters of Trout Unlimited. Tom had a love for nature, the ocean and lighthouses. He especially enjoyed regular trips to Cape Cod and the shores of New Jersey. He had many areas of interests and hobbies throughout his lifetime which included coin collecting, model trains, radio control airplanes, gardening, fishing, fly tying, hunting, bird watching and photography.
Tom lived in the Finger Lakes area of N.Y for over 66 years. He loved his home in N.Y. and had many found memories of growing up and living there. In 2011, he and Jackie moved to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to be near their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters, Lucinda Ann (Timothy) Immel and Christine Marie (Alan) Glass; grandchildren Paige Ermer, Cassandra Immel, Cooper Glass and Abigail Glass; great-grandson Clyde Ermer and great-granddaughter Eleanor Ermer; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Anne Marie Conley.
A Visitation in Wisconsin will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 2:00-4:00pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 North Park Avenue, Fond du Lac, WI 54935.
In keeping with Tom's wishes, there will be no public calling hours in N.Y. Friends and family will be invited to a gathering on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Mull Funeral Home, 113 North Virginia Street, Waterloo at 11:00am. A funeral mass will follow at 1:00 at St. Mary's Church, 25 Center Street, Waterloo, with Burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Manor of Fond du Lac for their Attentiveness, Patience, Compassion and overall Care for Dad during his final days.
