Mr. Thomas Elam Cousin, 69, of Saxe, VA entered eternal rest on Monday, January 19, 2026 at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, VA.
Mr. Cousin was born in Charlotte County, VA on November 24, 1956 to the late Thomas and May McCargo Cousin. He attended the public schools of Charlotte County and was a member of Rocky Branch Baptist Church in Red Oak, VA. Mr. Cousin enjoyed watching wrestling and cooking.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory two aunts, Shirely A. King of Saxe, VA and Katie McCargo of Chase City, VA, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 23, 2026 at Rocky Branch Baptist Church, Red Oak, VA with Rev. Phillip Staten officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be held on Thursday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
