Thomas Cringoli Obituary
Gates: Sunday, February 1, 2026, at age 91. He is predeceased by his wife, Joyce [Bilodeau] Cringoli; parents, Gaetano & Rose Cringoli; brother, Mauro (Josephine) Cringoli; sisters, Mary (Carmen) Mistretta, Theresa (Alphonse) Fantauzzo, and Margerita (Larry) Siverd; sisters-in-law, Pauline Cringoli and Dolores Cringoli. He is survived by his children, Sandy (Bob) Scalia and John (Anna) Cringoli; grandchildren, Lisa Cerqua (Jared Passamonte), Nicole (Chris) Carroll, Johnny Cringoli, and Vinny (Taylor) Cringoli; great grandson, Benjamin Carroll; brothers, Michael Cringoli of FL and Anthony (Annie) Cringoli of SC; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Tom was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co. and an Army Veteran. He was an avid golfer, bowler, and baseball player who played shortstop for Presidio California Army Team while stationed there.
Friends may call Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, from 3:00-6:00 pm at DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Saturday, Feb. 7, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 1:00 pm at Parish of the Holy Family (St. Jude's site), 4100 Lyell Road, Gates. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to N.Y.S. Veterans Home at Batavia, 220 Richmond Avenue, Batavia, NY 14020 in his memory.
Tom's family would like to thank all the staff of the New York State Veterans Home at Batavia for their loving and compassionate care.
