Gates: Monday, January 26, 2026, at age 92. She is predeceased by her husband, Luigi Verde; son-in-law, Russell Erickson; parents, Matteo & Gelsomina Placido. She is survived by her children, Theresa Erickson, Michael (Cheryl) Verde, Gelsomina (Angelo) Martusciello, and Lilliana (Salvatore) Rotoli; grandchildren, Erisha Erickson, Louis (Kara) Verde, Rosanna Hogle, Giorgio (Baret) Martusciello, Matteo Martusciello, Anthony (Brianna) Martusciello, Giorgio (Stephanie) Rotoli, and Salvatore (Emina) Rotoli; great-grandchildren, Anthony and Katherine Verde, Nadia, Valentina, and Hugh Hogle, Victoria, Giorgio Jr., and Giavanna Martusciello, Ryan Martusciello, Cristiano and Ariella Martusciello, Isabella and Luca Rotoli; sister, Maria Esposito of Italy; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Rosa was a retiree of Hickey-Freeman.
Per Rosa's wishes, services and interment were held privately. For those wishing, donations may be made to St. Theodore's Church, 168 Spencerport Road, Rochester, NY 14606 or Masses may be offered in her memory
