Stephen Schirano Obituary
North Chili: Suddenly, Wednesday January 28, 2026, at the age of 72. He is predeceased by his father, Joseph Schirano; mother, Rose Schirano; brother, Gary Schirano. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Diane [Ambeau] Schirano; his daughter, Sara (John) Sabins; his grandson, Everett Sabins; brothers and sister, Brian (Phyllis) Schirano, Douglas (Michele) Schirano, Robert (Beth) Schirano, JoAnn (Jim) DeWick of GA; nieces and nephews, Aaron and Matthew (Jessica) Schirano, Julia Schirano, Ryan and Bailee, Lindsey, Trenten, Dylan, and Garrett DeWick; great niece, Emerson Schirano; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Stephen enjoyed watching movies, spending time with his grandson, fishing, and spending time at the family cottage.
Friends may call Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 4:00-7:00 pm at DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Friday, February 6, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 11 N. Main Street, Churchville. Interment, St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Wilmont Cancer Institute, Office of Advancement, 300 East River Road, P.O. Box 278996, Rochester, NY 14627 in his memory.
