Thomas M. Cruz Jr. 73, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on December 13, 2025. Losing his battle with pancreatic cancer. Thomas was born to Thomas M. Sr. and Felipa S. Cruz on January 2, 1952 in Bryan, Texas. Following graduation from high school he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in October of 1972. He retired as a Tech Sgt. and traffic management supervisor in 1992. Thomas served in the Persian Gulf War, stationed in the middle east from August 1990 until October 1992.

He is survived by sisters Estela Cortez, Margaret Merritt, Elvera Houch and husband Robert, Allas Ramirez and husband Louis, Rosa Cruz, Mariana Cruz (Gene Acosta), Sheila Garcia and husband Daniel, best friend Elaine Eastridge, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces, great nephews, and cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by Mother Felipa S. Cruz, Father Thomas M. Cruz Sr., Niece Wymia Benavides, nephew Eligio (Boogie) Cortez Jr. and brother-in-law Eligio Cortez Sr.

Memorial Services will be held January 11, 2026 at 3:00pm at New Hope Presbyterian Church 1701, Enterprise St. Wichita Falls, Texas, 76306.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that doantions be made to New Hoep P{resbyterian Mobile Food Ministry, or the Wichita County Humane Society on Old Iowa Park road.

Very good friend is now gone I will always have great memories of our working together in TMO and our China Star Lunches. Thomas was fun to hang out with, we always connected and was always on the same page. He was someone you could trust and talk too.i will miss him.
