Thomas Henry "Tom" DeLarwelle Sr., age 79, passed away on June 27, 2025, at his home in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, with his loving wife by his side. Born on December 3, 1945, in Algoma, Wisconsin, Tom led a life defined by dedication to work, love of the outdoors, and strong family bonds.

From 1966 to 1968, Tom served honorably in the United States Army. His service was recognized with the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He also achieved Expert Rifle status, reflecting his discipline and skill.

Tom had a 35-year career at Bay Shipbuilding in leadership roles as a welder. Even after retiring, he continued working part-time for five years at Advanced Auto delivering parts. His unwavering work ethic remained a hallmark throughout his life.

Tom had a deep appreciation for nature. He enjoyed bird watching, tending to plants and flowers, and spending time in the fields. Though he eventually stepped away from farming himself, he continued to assist his best friend Ron Clark with farm work-an expression of his loyalty and enduring energy.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Barbara; and his children: Michelle Olson; Monica Kaye (Robert); Melissa Kohler (Jason); Nichole Serrahn (John); and Thomas DeLarwelle Jr. (Sara). He also leaves behind nine grandchildren: Tiffany; Keegan; Zoey(Devon); Charity; Genevieve; Josephine; Rylan; Jayden and Thomas. Five great-grandchildren: Carter; Braxton; Teagan; Kyler and Evangeline as well as his sister Donna Henderson.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Luella and Henry DeLarwelle; his brothers Robert and Leon as well as sisters-in-law Patricia and Lynette. A private family event will be held at a later date. May the memory of Thomas Henry "Tom" DeLarwelle Sr. bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a lasting tribute to a life well-lived. Forbes Funeral Home served the family.
