I was friends with Tommy D for over 40 years. I'm sharing a photo of us working together at ROLM, 1985ish. We shared a lot of fun times together, from the Friday evening homemade pizzas on Nassau Dr to the time we drove along Padre Island when the tide was coming in, to hanging out on the deck at his "country estate". Tom was the smartest person I ever knew, and had the best BS detector. When he didn't call me on my birthday this year, I knew something was wrong. I so wanted to tell him all about my latest Conquer the Coast bike ride in Corpus Christi. After not making phone contact, I resorted to "Google" to find out the sad news he had passed. Although I will miss seeing my dear friend in person, he is no longer suffering. Having been his friend has been a privilege to me. Peace to all his family and friends.

I took care of Tom for over 10 years. He became family to me. I got to learn a lot about Tom and every time I came to visit him in the morning. He always had something interesting to share with me from a documentary to some cartoon that he found. I would always call and chill Willy because he was always so cold. I will always remember a good time that we had. He also introduced me to salmon, which is one of his favorite dishes. Oh yeah, and I introduced him to vanilla ice cream with caramel and chocolate syrup.
He got to meet my daughter, my mom, my aunt and my grandson. I´m so glad that they were able to meet him as well.
I definitely will miss seeing his smiling face in blue eyes, and of course his hat. My condolences to the family. He was such a great person, and he would truly be missed.

We will miss Tom very much. He was a kind and loving man! He was my husband's co worker, became our friend and then our neighbor and part of our little family. He joined us in many celebrations over the years and this is one of the last ones. He was so kind to hang out with my crazy loud family at our gatherings. I will always remember he LOVED my green bean casserole and always had me pack some up to take home anytime I made it. He will be missed.

Tom was a very kind man. I was blessed to have him for a friend. I regret that we had not stayed in better touch this past few years. I will remember him fondly and with much respect.
