Thomas James Dimmock, the youngest son of Air Force Col. Charles and Kathryn Dimmock, died unexpectedly May 4, 2025. He is survived by his brother Chuck Dimmock of Hilton Head and his sister Mary Ellen (Robi) Zeiner of Clemson.
Born in Kansas City on February 23, 1955, he moved with his family to Turkey, California, New Jersey, and finally, upon his Dad's retirement, to Clemson.
TJ, as he preferred to be called, was a graduate of Daniel High School. He then attended Anderson University and proudly served in the Coast Guard until 1981. He moved to Augusta,GA where he worked for CMC metals for many years before moving back to Clemson.
TJ married Kathi Hayes in 1987. She predeceased him in 2021.
TJ leaves behind many Daniel and Augusta friends who enjoyed riding motorcycles and following car races with him. He will be missed by his family and friends.
