Thomas Kenneth Dye

Thomas Kenneth Dye, age 52, of Tazewell, Virginia, drew his last breath on this earth on Tuesday (January 6, 2026) at his home. Born October 22, 1973 in Richlands, Virginia, he was a son of the late Thomas and Eula Helton Dye. He attended Tazewell Church of Christ and he loved getting out and talking to people, doing odd jobs and trading cars.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one step-brother, Eugene Jones and one niece, Maryann.

Those who survive to cherish his memory include his companion, Emily Matney; two sons, Kenneth Dye and companion, Jessica Robins of Bluefield, West Virginia and Harley Dye of the home; one daughter, Lillianna Dye of the home; three sisters, Jennifer Brown and husband, John of Thompson Valley, Virginia, Tammy Dye of Bluefield, West Virginia and Shirley Flinchum and husband, John of Pulaski, Virginia; his best friend and mentor, Kenneth Wagner; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends also survive.

Memorial services will be conducted at 4 PM Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Thompson Valley Church of God with Rev. Kevin Seabolt officiating.
