Thomas V. Eichinger 95, Born on April 3, 1930 in Houston, Texas to Frank and Olive (Sanders) Eichinger. As a young boy, he moved with his family to Hoyte, Texas in Milam County. After several years, he moved with his family to Maysfield, Texas.
He was sworn into the Army on February 20, 1952-1954. He served in the Korean War. After he got out of the Army in 1954, he went to work at Alcoa in Rockdale. He worked there for 36 ½ years and retired from there.
He married Alice Lucko on July 30, 1955. They lived in Cameron and then in Rockdale. They had four children, two boys and two girls.
He belonged to Peace Lutheran Church in Rockdale.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Edward, Bill, Joe and John, sisters: Annie Marie, Bertha, Mae and a baby sister; baby brother Charles and grandson, Matthew Eichinger.
Survivors are his wife, Alice, and sons, Larry and Kenneth of Caldwell, daughters, Donna Towery of Lexington and Nancy Stanislaw and husband John of Bryan. Brothers: James and Leland of Cameron, Douglas of Bremond. Sisters: Mary Shipwash of Austin and Betty Chatham of Cedar Park, Lois Carroll of Georgia and Lana Coker of Comanche.
Grandchildren: Alyshe Hicks and Jason, of Bremond, Brandon Stanislaw and Kelsey, of Rockdale, Joshua Eichinger and Kim, of Franklin, Abagail Graves of Caldwell, and Tanner Towery of Lexington; step-grandchildren, Kaila Johnson and Cole Johnson.
Great-Grandchildren: Kaitlyn Ruiz of College Station, Lauren and Briana Hicks of Bremond, Hannah Hicks of Hutto, Kently, Jessa and Kody Eichinger of Franklin, Beaux McBride and Harper "June" Eichinger of Caldwell, and Kelbi and Bentley Stanislaw of Rockdale.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Eichinger, Alyshe Hicks, Tanner Towery, Jason Hicks, Kently Eichinger, and Ronnie Paris.
Services for Thomas are scheduled for 10:00 a.m Thursday, May 29th, 2025 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home with burial to follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale. Pastor Patrick Welton will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 28th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
