Thomas Emanuel Obituary

Thomas was born on October 4, 1967, in Laconia, NH, the son of the late Michael and Rita (Crawford) Emanuel.
Thomas graduated salutatorian of his class from Laconia High School in 1985. Other than his academic success, he also excelled in football. Thomas was captain of the football team; he was also selected for the All-State Team, as well as for the Shriner's Football Team. Thomas graduated with making the Dean's List several times at UNH.
Thomas' passions include Corvettes, motorcycles and NFL football. He was also known for his intelligence, wit, humor, artistic flare and passion for life. Thomas loved history, airshows and anything regarding the military. He also could have beaten Ken Jennings on the gameshow Jeopardy because he cleared the board every time. Thomas worked for the family business, Quality Foods in Laconia, NH, to put himself through UNH. He went on to pursue a career with Raytheon as a financial analyst. Thomas also loved traveling, both domestic and abroad.
Thomas is survived by his siblings, Stanley Emanuel and his wife Patty, Peter Emanuel, Heather Emanuel and Jason Emanuel, as well as several cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Thomas is predeceased by his sister-in-law Sheila Emanuel.
Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, using the Carriage House entrance, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 10:00am at the St. Andre Bessette Parish - Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia NH.
Burial will be held in the spring at Union Cemetery in Laconia.

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Thomas, I've heard wonderful memories of him. I feel the world is now absent of one special soul, the heavens have benefited, and may he rest easy in the presence of his mother and father. My sincerest sympathies go out to the entire Emanuel family, and all their loved ones.
