Thomas Stephen Erts

Thomas Stephen "Steve" Erts, loving and selfless soul, born May 2, 1967 in Bedford, ME, peacefully passed away September 21, 2023 in Salisbury, MD. Steve, known for his hard work, generosity, and was never heard to complain, embodying his belief that "the most peaceful place is on top of a roof." He was always ready with a genuine smile and laughter, and prided himself on being helpful to others.
Steve, an avid Ravens fan, was a hero to many and often put others before himself. He loved crabbing and going to the beach. A traveler in his youth, Steve was a loving father to sons Thomas Steven Erts (Brianna) and Emmanuel Wood (Maria), and to his daughter, Brittney Bedair (Ahmed) and grandfather to Emilia Elizabeth Erts, Sophia Grace Erts, Jane Wood, and Aleyah Bedair. In addition, he is survived by a sister, Margaret Guy and her husband Bill, along with their children, Noelle and Thomas Guy. He also shared a loving bond with his girlfriend, Nikki Morris Twiford. Longtime friend, Christal Hurley, will also miss him dearly.
Though Steve was a man of simple, basic tastes, his loving spirit and old soul will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know him.
