Thomas Andrew "Andy" Evans III, 59, passed away on June 22, 2025, in Florence, South Carolina.
Andy was a son of the late Thomas Andrew "Tommy" Evans, Jr and Pearl Elizabeth Drew. He was a graduate of Johnsonville High School's Class of 1984. He was self-employed man who owned a mobile home park. He used his "contractor" talents to maintain the homes in the park. During his spare time, Andy loved to fish. He also found great joy preparing meals for family gatherings-moments that brought people together and created lasting memories.
Andy is survived by his son, Drew (Mary) Evans; a grandson, Orion Evans; a special friend, Martha Powell; special children Angel (Talmadge) Turner and Shelley Langley; special grandchildren Graham Moffit, Eevee Langley, and Eris Langley; brother, Robbie Evans; aunt, Dianne Norman; uncle, Rudolph Drew; mother of his son, Tunie Evans; and mother-in-law, Mary Etta Evans.
In addition to his parents, Andy was predeceased by a brother Russell Evans; step-father, Randy Drew; and several beloved aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel located at 416 N Main Street, Hemingway, South Carolina, 29554. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, South Carolina will follow the service at Old Johnsonville Cemetery located at 846 S Georgetown Highway, Johnsonville, South Carolina, 29555.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Andy's memory to Morris Funeral Home, PO Box 158, Hemingway, South Carolina, 29555.
