Thomas "Tom" Lloyd Fahring, Jr., 75, of Anahuac, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025, in Anahuac.
Tom was born October 16, 1949, in Liberty, to parents; Dr. Thomas Lloyd, Sr. and Mary Blanche Looney Fahring, and was a lifelong resident of Anahuac. He was a graduate the Anahuac High School class of 1967, received his bachelor's degree in biology from Texas A&M University in 1971, a retired banker from Post Oak Bank, and Episcopal by faith. Tom was also a member of the Anahuac Lions Club and Anahuac Cemetery Association. He enjoyed fishing, reading, spending time with his grandchildren, and will be remembered for his kind and supportive personality.
Mr. Fahring was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sons: Shea Fahring and wife Misti and Thomas Lloyd Fahring, III and wife Bentley, sister: Linda Fahring Tinnerman, mother of his children: Sue Mendenhall, brothers-in-law: Rick and Guy Mendenhall, grandchildren: Wyatt, Emerson, and Sawyer, niece: Mary Helen Hall and husband Drew, numerous other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, at the Sterling Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Anahuac Cemetery in Anahuac.
