Thomas "Tom" L. Fisher Sr. 81,

passed away at Harry Haynes Hospice St. Francis Hospital on December 18, 2025. He was born May 27, 1944 in St. Louis, Mo. to Paul William and Vernettie Ellen (Bryan) Fisher. He was married to Ruby Donna Hastings January 18, 1969 in El Paso, Tx. Family was important to Tom. Doing things with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Always enjoying the times he spent with his siblings over the years. He was an over the road truck driver for over 50 years. Besides doing mechanic work and building trikes in his spare time, he attended First Baptist Church of Belle Plaine. Tom is survived by his children, Vernettie of Oklahoma from a previous marriage, Donna Farris, Tommy (Melissa) Fisher, Betty Fisher, and son in law Shawn Scroggins Sr. all of Wichita, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren with 1 due in January 2026, brother Rickey (Ruth) Fisher of Henley, Mo., numerous extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Ruby, daughter Chrissey Scroggins, granddaughters Lauren Farris and Nevaeh Plummer, brothers; James, Richard, Korles, George, Eugene, Raymond, and Ralph and sisters Betty Spence and Bertha Goff. Services will be held at a later date and officiated by Jeremiah Orr.
