Thomas Anthony Hagman
On December 2, 2025, Thomas Anthony Hagman beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend passed peacefully at home.
Tom was born in Hawesville, Kentucky to Harold and Dorothy Hagman. He attended Bellarmine University receiving a BA and later a CPA. Tom served in the Navy as a Lieutenant before starting his professional career. He worked as an auditor for Coopers and Lybrand, budget analyst for Martin Marietta and finally for Manheim Louisville.
He enjoyed deep reading as well as college basketball, football, and golf.
Tom took great joy in his family and in practicing his Catholic faith. He was deeply involved at his parish of Epiphany and with the St. Vincent de Paul Society. For years and until recently, Tom reliably delivered collected groceries to local food pantries.
Tom is proceeded in death by his parents Dorothy and Harold, his sister, Theresa Rose McCarty, his brothers Reverend William, George, Victor, and Francis Paul Hagman.
He is survived by his wife Lucy, sons Anthony and Peter, his sisters Mary Schelling, Lillian (Jerry) Smith, and Dorothy Mae Pooser, his brothers Dan and Charles (Pat) Hagman, and many nieces and nephews.
His family would like to thank the teams of Doctors' Douglas Nelson, Robert Martin and their nursing staffs at Norton's for their care and attention during Tom's recent cancer journey.
Visitation will be held December 11, 2025 from 9 - 11 AM at
Epiphany Catholic Church, 914 Old Harrods Creek Rd., Anchorage KY
with a Mass of Resurrection at 11 AM, followed by a reception and burial at Calvary Cemetery 1600 Newburg Rd., Louisville KY.
