Thomas was preceded in death by his father; Robert Lloyd Henson and brother; William Henson.
Thomas was a master of all trades and accomplished many tasks.
Survivors include his mother, Carol York Henson; siblings, Robert Henson (Sharon) of Swansboro, Timothy Henson (Roberta), Janice Henson Rohraff (David), Jerry Henson, Gary Henson(Jenny), Ronald Henson (Jenny) all of Michigan, John Henson of Georgia, Donald Henson (Misty) of New Bern and Jodie Henson (Jimmy) of Tennessee, he loved and was loved dearly by all 54 of his nieces and nephews from North Carolina, Michigan, North Dakota, Tennessee, Arizona, California, Pennsylvania, Washington & Florida.
