Thomas Lynn Higdon, aged 66, a treasured soul, left our world on August 4, 2025, in Anderson, Missouri. Born on August 30, 1959, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, Thomas touched all those he encountered throughout his life. Thomas's journey through life was shared with his loving family, including his devoted wife, Karen; his proud sons, Aaron, Chris, and Jeremy; his cherished grandson, Chris Jr; his granddaughter, Adley Joe; his brother, Don; a sister, Mona Reeves; his stepchildren, April Patterson and Ricky Foster; and his adored grandchildren, Tessa Foster and Archie Patterson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Joe and Anna Marie Higdon. Renowned for his skills with a welding torch, Thomas spent his career as a welder and fabricator, leaving a legacy of craftsmanship that won the respect and recognition of many in the industry. His professional dedication was matched only by his personal involvement in the community, where he was known and loved by a multitude of friends and acquaintances. His best friend, Tommy Heys, stood by him through every season of life, cherishing countless memories filled with adventures and camaraderie. Thomas's passion for life was most apparent in his love for the great outdoors. Avid about camping and fishing, he found his greatest peace and solace under the open skies. He also enjoyed collecting an assortment of guns. You could often find Thomas working on his rock crawler and various vehicles. To describe Thomas is to speak of love in motion. Thomas Lynn Higdon lived a life that exemplified joy, love, and connection. His departure leaves a void in the fabric of the community, but his spirit continues to inspire those left behind to live well, love deeply, and laugh often. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to the care of Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
