Thomas Duncan “Tom” Hoxie, 82 of Weaverville passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025. He was born in Oxford, OH on March 2, 1943, to George and Galen Hoxie. Tom was a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, OH and was retired from General Motor’s Chevrolet Motor Division. Tom and wife Maureen have been Weaverville residents for 26 years.

Tom is survived by his spouse, Maureen Hoxie and his first wife, Mary Jo Fox. He leaves behind his sons, Jim Hoxie and Sean Hoxie (Natalie), their children Kyle, Will and Dana; his son, Geoffery Clemmons (Melissa), their children Kelly Raynes (Jeremy), Gregory and Madeline; his daughter, Julie Clemmons Sanchez (Thomas) and their children Zachary and Chloe Peak, Aleks and William Pluth and his daughter, Mari Tavorozzi (Joseph), their children Ava Maria, Dominic, Matteo (7.24315-6.12.23) and Gianna. He also leaves behind his sister, Meredith Flerlage and nephew, Patrick Flerlage and his younger brother, Monty Hoxie (Beth) and nephew, Alex Hoxie.

The family will hold a private celebration of life.
