Thomas W. Hutton, 76: beloved husband of Linda (nee Schaefer); dear father of Jonathan Hutton, Lauren Hutton, Ian Hutton and Ryan Hutton; brother of the late Jean and Chuck Henzler, the late Phares Hutton, the late Joan and Anthony Lagattuta; brother-in-law of Arlene Hutton; loving uncle to many nieces and nephews; and a friend to many.
He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by his family on Sunday, June 23, 2024.Tom worked as an engineer for the New Jersey Transit Railroad for over 30 years. He was well-liked for his sense of humor and his artistic abilities. Tom was always asked to draw his comical caricatures of co-workers upon their retirement as part of their send-off.
Tom loved music, reading books and playing the guitar, and was well-liked by children because of his playful nature. He loved Paw Patrol popsicles, pickles, and watching HGTV and movies -especially Harry Potter with his family. His family was his entire world and cherished them beyond measure. But above all, he loved God with such sincerity. If there was a message that he would want every person to know, it's that nothing else matters in this world, except the grace of God.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be forwarded to the American Lung Association. www.lung.org
