Joshua C. Hutton

1976 - 2025

Joshua C. Hutton, 48, of Charleston, WV passed away on July 1, 2025.

Josh was born in Morgantown, WV on September 10, 1976, and grew up in Charleston, WV. He graduated from George Washington High School in 1994, where he excelled in the classroom and on the soccer field. He went to undergraduate school at WVU and was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. His fraternity brothers became

lifelong friends, and he treasured their friendship. He was an avid Mountaineer fan and cheered the Mounties on during every sporting event he could. He attended WVU College of Law and graduated in 2002. Josh's sense of adventure led him to California, where he practiced law for over 20 years and recently opened his own law

firm, Liu Hutton in Long Beach, CA.

Josh's bright spirit brought laughter & joy to all those around him. He was strong, athletic, funny and handsome. His presence would electrify any room. He was a great friend to all and will be deeply missed by family, friends, colleagues and pups.

Josh was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold C. Warman and Doris L. Warman of Uniontown, PA and Donald M. Hutton and E. Louise Neely Hutton of Clarksburg, WV.

Josh is survived by his mother Barbara "Jean" Warman (Thomas B. Epps), father John P. Hutton, brother Shane A. Hutton and partner Nedrudee Liu.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
