Thomas “Jack” Jackson Tatum, age 82, a life-long resident of Cumming, GA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his children and grandchildren on Friday, May 26, 2023. He was born in 1940, to the late Furman and Lee Clara Tatum. Jack was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. He loved his family and spending time with them. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Junior, Michael “Tater”, and Charles “Carlos” Tatum.
He is survived by his children, Casey (Connie) Tatum, Shanan (Brandon) Cook, and Brandon Tatum; grandchildren, Miranda (Tim) Cameron, Rosanna Saxton, Taylor (Jeremiah) Bailey, Jay Stevens, Samantha Stevens, Destiny Cook, and Kameryn Cook; great grandchildren, Ethan, Jake (Olivia), Thomas, and Cooper Cameron, siblings, Sandra Bennett, Deborah Storey, and Johnny Tatum; along with many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Rev. Shad Faulkner officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to Zion Hill Baptist Church.
