Thomas Kelly Obituary
Tom was born on March 25, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois, to William and Jean (Haack) Kelly, who preceded him in death. Known affectionately as "Doc" to many, Tom lived a life grounded in hard work, loyalty, and devotion to his family.
He was a proud graduate of J.F. Kennedy High School, Class of 1969. Throughout his life, Tom worked as a truck driver and dock worker, careers that reflected his strong work ethic and dedication to providing for those he loved.
On February 7, 1998, Tom married the love of his life, Dolli (Gawlick) Kelly, in Bridgeview, Illinois. Together they built a life centered around family, laughter, and shared memories.
Tom found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved fishing, baseball, and being outdoors, but nothing meant more to him than spending time with his family. Whether gathered together or sharing a quiet moment, those closest to him will forever cherish his presence, his stories, and his easygoing spirit.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Dolli Kelly; his sons, Thomas (Jessica) Kelly, Matthew (Sarah) Kelly, and Alphonso (Kyley) Kelly; and his brothers, Kerry Kelly and Bill Kelly.
He leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss him deeply.
Tom will be remembered for his kind heart, steady strength, and the love he gave so freely to those around him. His memory will live on in the lives he touched and the family he held so dear.
