Thomas D. Kirk

Thomas D. Kirk, 78, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026 in his residence. He was born in Robinson, Illinois to Howard and Erma (Creed) Kirk on August 22, 1947. Thomas worked as a Millwright at Western Paper (International Paper) and served proudly in the United States Marine Corps in the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association. Thomas loved fishing and boating. Most of all, he cherished his time spent with family.

Thomas is preceded in death by both of his parents.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline (West) Kirk; daughter, Lori Mize (Aaron Kyle); step-daughter, Dawn Cottrell-Neice (Farron Stevens); brother, Richard Kirk; sisters, Peggy Lowe, Angie Statts (Charlie); grandchildren, Mackenzie Butts (Keaton), Felicia Banta (Cole), David Mize, Ashton Cottrell, Jade Thomas, Paige; great-grandchildren, Paisley, Kyren, and Taylyn; dear nephew, Jonathon Kirk (Rhonda); several nieces and nephews; dogs, Cooper and Penelope.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park with Pastor Mike Brown officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.samaritanfunerals.com
