Thomas Kreutzer

Thomas Franklin Kreutzer of Greenwich, CT passed away January 5th at the age of 91. The youngest child of Henry and Blanche, the only of which was born in a hospital. A longtime resident of Yonkers, NY, Tom served in the United States Army and was based in Virginia. He married the late Anita (Korin) and raise two daughters, the late Carol, and Kathy of Newtown.
A maker, fixer, and tinkerer, Tom was a man of many talents and hobbies. Following his return from Virginia, he and his brother, Larry opened up Peartree Auto Wrecking in the Bronx.
An avid gardener, Tom would aways bring a bouquet of flowers to whoever he was visiting. He enjoyed boating, airplane rides, and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his generosity, and his garlic bread.
Tom will be missed by his friends and family including his daughter Kathy, his grandchildren: Christina (Brent), Eric (Deb), Daniel, Jesse (Kristen), Christal, and Callie, 4 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Lee Costa, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER Tuesday, January 14, 2025, 4-8 pm. Prayer Service at the Funeral Home Wednesday January 15, 2025, at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
