Thomas Andrew Lacey passed away on 10th of November 2024. He was the son of Donald S. Lacey and Adelaide M. Lacey. Tom is survived by his wife Patricia A. Lacey, his daughter Laura L. Scanlon, his son Anthony P. Lacey, his grandchildren; Ellen Scanlon, Sean Scanlon, Ryan Scanlon, Sarah Scanlon, Chase Lacey, and cousin Ellen Lyons.
Tom was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, and was a graduate of St. Peter's College. Tom was a generous person who was always willing to lend an ear to help those in need during his career in Human Resources, to members of the community as a counselor, and as teacher of family to family for the National Alliance of Mental Illness. He was a parish member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. He loved the arts, theatre, and especially musicals. He enjoyed the hobbies of traveling and gourmet cooking. He also painted regularly and was accepted for his paintings at the Art Students League of New York.
Tom will be interred at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary and Cemetery. Celebration of his life is planned from 3:00 to 5:00 on the 6th of December 2024 at 16405 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Phoenix Children's Hospital, National Alliance of Mental Health, or Catholic Charities Arizona.
