Funeral services are Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 11:00 am at Wake Forest Pentecostal Church with burial to follow in Wake Forest Cemetery. Visitation is 10:00 am until 11:00 am prior to the service.
Born on May 29, 1937, Billie Jean lived a long and full life marked by devotion to her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard Estelle Lacey; her son, Howard Hugh Lacey; her parents; her brother Samuel Wiggly; and her sister Elvie Roby.
She is lovingly remembered by her son Charles Duane Lacey and his wife Vickie. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Angela Lacey, Dawn Biggart, Charles Lacey (Jenny), Jenifer Ables (Christopher), and Joshua Lacey (Brittney).
She was also blessed with eleven great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren who brought joy to her later years.
She was a member of Wake Forest Pentecostal Church and had been a previous owner of Lacey Grocery in Thomastown, MS.
Billie Jean's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
