Thomas Leo Little

Thomas Leo Little, 75, of Godfrey passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025. Tom was born on January 11, 1950 in Carrollton, the second of three sons to Howard Samual Little and Mary Margret Geers Little.
Tom was dealt a hard hand at birth and faced a lifetime of serious health challenges. He bravely persisted through all and managed each in his own way. Tom lived a simple life, worked hard, and accomplished far more than was ever expected. He never owned or drove a car. He walked, rode the bus or his bike, or managed with a ride from many kind souls to get where he needed to be.
Tom never married. The love of his life was music, especially The Beatles. Music was his escape and music got him through many tough times. He was also a St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Tom worked hard, lived an independent life, and retired after 32 years with BJC Healthcare in Alton. He was his own man.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by brothers, James Little of East Alton and Mike Little of Columbia, Missouri, and stepsister, Kim Scroggins, of Godfrey.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 18 at 10:00 a.m. followed by prayer service at 11:00 a.m. at the Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in Carrollton. Burial at St. John's Cemetery will follow the service.
