Thomas C. Litwiler, Age 88, of Bothell, WA, formerly of Hampton Twp, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Loving husband of 58 years to the late Gail V. Litwiler; devoted father of Thomas J. "T.J." Litwiler of Chicago, IL and Tricia (David) Kimmel of Seattle, WA; proud grandfather of Sara and Rachel Kimmel; dear brother of Lynda DeWard; and Uncle of nine special nieces and nephews. Tom worked for Westinghouse Electric Corporation from 1981 to 1998, retiring as Executive Assistant to the Chairman. A graduate of Kent State University, he received an honorary Doctor of Public Service degree from Alderson-Broaddus College in Philippi, WV in 2008. Tom was a stalwart member of the North Hills Community Baptist Church, where he was unfailingly the first face visitors saw when walking in the door. Known for sending cards full of confetti, he engaged anyone and everyone he met with a unique blend of interest, care, and humor. Friends will be received on Tuesday, June 20 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the BOCK FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, PA 15116. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 21 at 11 a.m. at the North Hills Community Baptist Church, 7801 Thompson Run Rd., Pgh., PA 15237. Donations may be made to the Church.

He was such a light; always a pleasure to see him at church. Wicked sense of humor, and deep love and appreciation for the human condition it all its variations. I'm very lucky to have known him for a few years.
