Thomas Maddocks

Thomas William Maddocks, a steadfast servant of God was called to his heavenly home on February 24, 2026. Born on September 27, 1960, Thomas's journey through life was marked by an unwavering faith, a love for his family, and a dedication to service that touched the lives of all who knew him.

Thomas spent his final moments peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of his family. His beloved wife, Maria, stood by his side as he transitioned into eternal rest. He was the proud father of his sons, Jonathan and James. Thomas's legacy of love and strength lives on through his devoted siblings and family, Cindy and Jeff Smith, Kathy Spencer, Timothy and Susan McCombs, Dennis and Karen Spencer, and his many nieces and nephews who cherished his guidance and wisdom. He now joins his late parents, Thomas and Ann, in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Thomas's greatest joy was his family. He remained deeply connected to those close at home in Michigan and his cherished relatives in Canada. He also found great happiness and fellowship as a member of Pasko in Michigan, where he was a well-loved part of the community. Thomas's faith was the cornerstone of his existence. A devout Christian, he found joy and solace in bible study with Shepherd's Chapel. A man of God and a devoted student of the Word with Shepherd's Chapel, he led by example and was a constant source of encouragement to his family in their own faith.

An avid sports fan, Thomas brought a fiery passion to his Michigan teams. Rallying the home team from his favorite chair, his enthusiasm was unmatched. His adventurous spirit shone brightest in the great outdoors. Fishing, camping, hunting and his Harleys, were not just hobbies for Thomas; they were opportunities to marvel at God's creation, to teach his sons about the beauty and intricacies of nature, and to find tranquility away from the bustle of daily life. Thomas had a everlasting love for animals. From the horses he tended to in his youth to the many German Shepherds he raised and cared for over the years, he found a quiet joy and companionship in the animals he looked after.

Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of Thomas's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home – Columbiaville.
