Thomas James Maxwell, Jr., a loving and devoted father, brother, uncle, and friend, was called home to glory on Friday, September 26, 2025, and was born on April 3, 1947, and lived a blessed 78 years. He was the blessed son of the late Thomas Maxwell Sr., and Daisy Bell-Pelham.

Thomas was educated in the public schools of Alachua County and graduated from Lincoln High School Class of 1965.

Thomas enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1966. While serving, he advanced to the rank of Sergeant. During his time in the Marines, he served in the Vietnam War. Thomas worked as a Construction laborer for over 40 years. He never met a stranger, and his smile glorified your heart.

Thomas met and fell in love with Mildred Y. Jones, and from that came a son, Kenny Jones, Ketia (Ronald) Perry, and the late Quannakia VV Jones.

Thomas later began his commitment of love and dedication to Clementine "Clem" Scrivens in 2001 until she departed from this life to be with her Lord.

Thomas accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Thomas was a faithful member and served as Deacon Thomas at Queen Ester Church of God in Unity under the leadership of Pastor Ben Hoover.

Thomas Maxwell Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Maxwell Sr., Daisy Bell-Pelham, wife Clementine Scrivens-Maxwell, and daughter Qunnakia VV Jones.
