Tommy was a firefighter for the Kenner Fire Department and retired after 30 years of service.
Beloved son of the late Geraldine Betty Sanders Miguez and Thomas Theodore Miguez, Sr. Loving brother of Sharon M. Brown (LeRoy), Dudley N. Miguez (Kim) and Terence M. "Terry" Miguez (Gina). Uncle of Crystal Brown (Chad), LeRoy Brown, III (Gabriela), Britney Carderara (Matthew), Sabrina Young (Patrick), Brigitte Fontenot, Chad Brown and Mackenzie Miguez. Also survived by grand-nieces and grand-nephews, Madison Perret, Gavin Perret, Jaxson Carderara, Landon Perret, Iris Campise, and Rebecca Ixcolin-Brown.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral. Visitation will be held at L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner, LA on Friday, May 26, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m. Interment in Lafayette Cemetery No. 1.

Sad to lose anyone at such a young age. Tommy was a great guy that gave his all in serving the community.
I will miss his "educating" me on the horses and the tracks.
My prayers remain with you, Sharon, and your family for peace, comfort and strength to endure this time.
