Thomas Miller Obituary Thomas Miller, age 76, resident of Ashland, OH passed away peacefully, Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the Crystal Care Nursing Facility in Ashland.
He was born on March 29, 1949, in Shelby to the late George and Rosemary (Reber) Miller and had been an area resident for the majority of his life. Tom was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam. He worked as a mechanic with the Tuby in Shelby for 46 years, before his retirement in 2014. He was known to always be tinkering. His favorite items to tinker with mostly consisted of small engines, but he also enjoyed working on farm equipment.
He is survived by his two children, Susanna (Luke) Strohm of Ashland, Tamella Vanek of Shiloh, Alabama; two grandsons Tyler and Isaiah Strohm; five siblings, Marie Miller, Chuck Miller, Joan Hicks, Judy Roberts, and Rita Floro; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anna Marie (Reber) Miller, whom he wed October 15, 1977; and three siblings, Fred, George, and Mary Miller.
A tribute to Tom's service in the United States Army will be held 4:30 PM at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby, Wednesday, June 25, 2025. Friends may visit the family following from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A memorial service will immediately take place at the funeral home at 6:00 PM with Reverend Nathan R. McBeth officiating.
