Thomas A Nestor, of Wakefield MA, died on Saturday, December 27, 2025 surrounded by his loving wife and two daughters. Son of the late Norma (Durgin) and James J. Nestor, Tom was born and raised in Winthrop, MA.
Tom was the beloved husband of Mary Ann (McGonagle) Nestor. He was the loving father of Shannon Quinn and her husband Dominic of Methuen MA, Colleen Morelli and her husband Brian of Peabody MA and the late Thomas J. Nestor. He was the brother of Helen Pullin (late husband James), Kathryn Holland (husband Robert), and the late James J. Nestor Jr. and the late Elizabeth Wilder (surviving husband Russell). He leaves behind five grandchildren, Lauren, Amelia and Brian Morelli and Abigail and Cameron Quinn as well as nieces and nephews.
He loved working in his “shop”, listening to music and reminiscing about the good old days of fast cars and road trips. Tom and Mary raised their family in Wakefield and enjoyed trips to the lakes of New Hampshire and to the ocean.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Sunday, January 4 from 1-4pm. His Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Monday, January 5 at 11am. Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
