Thomas N. "Tom the Tireman" Ourada, 95, of Cheyenne, died on December 18, 2022 in Cheyenne.
He was born on September 14, 1927 in Boise, Idaho.
Tom lived in Cheyenne since 1946, served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, and worked at Halladay Motors until 1961. He later owned Royal Chevron Service Station and Tom the Tireman.
He married Nanette Wood in 1945 and had two children, Tracy Ourada (Gayle) of Cheyenne, and Teri of Tucson, Arizona. He is also survived by three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
Tom was a life member of the VFW and American Legion, a 58 year member of the Frontier Lions Club, and the Cheyenne Balloon Club.
"My body got old and tired and not good enough to be recapped. My son is going to put my remains in a tire, round and round I go."
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Lions Club or the Animal Shelter.
