July 8, 1952 - December 15, 2024
Pacula Jr., Thomas, 72, of Absecon, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024. Born in Atlantic City, NJ, he grew up and lived in Absecon his entire life. From an early age, Thomas could be found on the bay in his Boston Whaler, where he made a living to provide for his family. He had a career in the seafood industry for 25 years, and worked for Casino Lobster in Pleasantville until his retirement in 2014. Affectionately known as "TP" or "Poppy" to his grandkids, Tom was a kind and gentle man who was loved by all. In his free time, he enjoyed cooking, boating, fishing, gardening, golfing, and avidly staying in touch with those he loved dearly.
Thomas is predeceased by his parents, Thomas Pacula and Marylyn Andrews. He is also predeceased by his companion, Margaret McGinnis. He is survived by his daughter, Jodi (Paul) Smith of Galloway and their children, Tyler, Morgan, and Chase; son, Nicholas (Brandie) Pacula of Absecon and their children, Peyton, Sydney and Lexi. Additionally, he is survived by his sisters, Terry Rummler of Seaville; Sally (Michael) Crosson of Absecon; and all his nieces and nephews; as well as his former spouse, Debra Knowles.
Visitation will be 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A service will immediately follow at 10:30 a.m., with private internment. Online condolences may be placed at www.parselsfh.com.
