Thomas H. Peabody, Jr., to all his dear friends known as "T Dog" or "Tom-Tom", 55, passed away after a motorcycle accident on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Born on August 8, 1970, in
Westerly, RI, he was the son of late Thomas Howard Sr. and Nancy Louise (Saunders) Peabody.
T Dog grew up in North Stonington, CT and graduated from Wheeler High School. He worked at Foxwoods and went on to be a carpenter Local 1302 for Electric Boat in Groton for about 12 years. He was always active in something whether enjoying playing soccer or bowling and always participated in the Tug of War at the Washington County Fair. He kept faith in his heart as a Baptist and to his numerous friends and family he was one of the most kindhearted people you could ever meet. Spending time hanging out and having fun with everyone he knew were some of the best times ever. And of course, riding his motorcycle. He helped found the Sons of Santa Charity Ride, which helped kids in need over the holidays, was just a part of his large heart that he gave back to the community. He died doing what he loved, riding his motorcycle and he will forever be missed by everyone who knew him.
He leaves his sisters Rosalind (Fran) Crowley of No. Stonington, CT and Susan (David) Pelcher of West Warwick, RI along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas, Sr. and Nancy along with his older brother John Henry Peabody.
