Timothy Veitch Obituary
Timothy G. Veitch, of Evergreen Lane, Westerly, passed away at Royal Westerly Nursing Home on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at the age of 79. He was the husband of the late Geraldine (Carr) Veitch.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Eugene A. and Mary Louise Veitch.
Timothy worked as a Logistician for Yardney Electric for many years. Known for his sharp wit and his keen sense of humor, he enjoyed yardwork and his Corvettes. He was always up for a road trip with his wife Gerri. Tim graduated in 1965 from Wheeler High School, North Stonington, CT and was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He leaves behind his stepson Brian Hunt and wife Elizabeth of Westerly; as well as one grandson Carson Hunt of Griswold, CT. He was predeceased by his brother Thomas Veitch of East Lyme, CT. He is survived by his brother Ronald E Veitch of Harrisburg, PA, his "favorite sister" MaryAnn Veitch of Rehoboth Beach, DE, and sister-in-law Karen Veitch of Groton, CT; and two nieces.
