Tom attended Ypsilanti High School and went on to work in customer service at a bookstore and later at Key Opportunities. He enjoyed his computer games, watching WWE, and going fishing with his wife. His stubbornness and resilience will be missed by all who knew him.
Tom is survived by his wife of 27 years, Peggy; five children, William (Mary Van) Pepper, Thomas (Jessie) Pepper, Jimmy (Jen) Pepper, Latasha Rinesmith and her four children, and Martha Spalding; seven grandchildren, Desi, Jordan, Kaylee, Jonathan, Paisley, Richard, and Damon; two great-grandchildren, LaReyaha, and Samiyah; many nieces and nephews; and six siblings, Carolyn Carmen, Rose, Terry, Jimmy, and Lonnie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Thomas "Tommy" Pepper Jr.; one granddaughter, Elizabeth; and two siblings, Cheryl and Ron.
A celebration of life for Tom Pepper will be held Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Baw Beese Lake Waterworks Park in Hillsdale, Michigan, passing dishes are welcomed. Arrangements have been entrusted to the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale.
