Thomas Dean Potter

Potter, Thomas Dean- Age 84, of Linden, passed away January 10, 2026. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Friday January 16, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden, Michigan. (The funeral service may be viewed by livestream from a link at Mr. Potter's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held 10 AM until the time of the funeral at 12 PM Friday, January 16. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.

Thomas was born January 13, 1941 in Praise, Kentucky, the son of Fon and Ethel (Mullins) Potter. He owned and operated Telmis Systems, Inc. Thomas was an avid sports fan, loving all sports, but he especially loved University of Michigan sports. When he was younger, he enjoyed playing basketball, seven days a week. In his later years, he began to play golf and played 6 days a week. He ran two golf leagues, and over the years, made 2 holes in one. Thomas also enjoyed bowling. His family was most important to him.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Linda; three daughters, Candace Harrison, Cindy Potter, and Christy (Manuel) Diaz; five grandchildren, Ashley Harrison, Douglas Harrison, Jr., Paige Siegfried, Zachary Potter, and Cody Gibson; two great-grandchildren, Lola Harrison and Luna Harrison.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fon Potter and mother, Ethel Potter.
