Thomas Realmuto

Thomas Realmuto, 69 years old, was born on December 11, 1954, in Brooklyn,
NY. Thomas was the son of the late Marion (Pastore) and Philip Realmuto; a
beloved father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He passed away in the
comfort of his home in Staten Island, succumbing to his 8-month battle with
cancer.
Thomas was the beloved father of three children; Kristen and her husband
Christopher Bruno, Gabrielle and her husband Nicholas Pucciarelli, and the late
Philip Realmuto. Known as, "Papa", he leaves behind five grandchildren; Philip,
Nicholas, Leanna, Eleni, and Rhea. He was survived by his sister Margaret Ann
Gettleman and his nephew Jason Gettleman and family. Thomas was also survived
by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
His family was his pride and joy and he shared his strength and support with them
throughout his life. His kindness, wisdom, humor and love have left an
unforgettable mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him
Viewing will be on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at
Hanley Funeral Home, 60 New Dorp Lane, Staten Island. The funeral mass will be
at St. Charles Church, 644 Clawson Street, Staten Island, on Friday November 8,
2024 at 10:15AM.
