Thomas Gerald Malloy SMS Ret USAF

Thomas G. Malloy passed away on November 11,2025. He was born on January 12, 1931 in Detroit MI to Lawrence and Anna Malloy. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers: Fred Malloy and Edward Malloy, sister Terese Poitier, and son in law Anthony Carlo.

Tom spent 26 years in the AF traveling the world; serving in the Mid East,

Asia, Far East Europe and Iceland as well as numerous bases and sites in the continental US. One memorable assignment was Marion Massachusetts where he cemented life long friends with members of his team. The Coultas family still remains part of the Malloy family 70years later and were responsible for Tom meeting Liz several years later.

Tom loved to travel and was always the first one to volunteer to take a work assignment anywhere in the world. He loved his family, church, and country above everything. A devoted family man he instilled a sense of adventure and patriotism in all his children and grandchildren. He was so proud that they all served their country in various services. He always said he enjoyed every minute of his 26 yr AF career.

Tom leaves behind Elizabeth, his wife of 63 yrs, Daughters: Juliana Carlo, Beth Sirmeyer (Dave) Son: Raymond ( Lisa Boatright). Grandchildren: Caitlin Carlo of Reston VA, Shane Sirmeyer (Latrice) of San Antonio Nicholas Sirmeyer (Hope) of Hill AFB Utah. Great grandchildren: Addison and Elijah Sirmeyer. Sister: Maureen Lee of Detroit MI. Plus numerous nieces and nephews on both the Malloy and Shane sides of the family, and the Coultas familiy And so many friends scattered across the country and here in San Antonio.

The family would like to thank Limitless Hospice for their gentle care of Tom in his last few weeks and the Amazing staff Arden Courts for their tender, loving care. Tom loved all of you. Especially Misty Karafi, Yvette and Monica. In lieu of flowers the family would like to suggest that any memorial tributes go in Toms name to Blessed Sacrament School Oblate Dr.
