Thomas "Tom" Rizzutto
Thomas "Tom" Rizzutto, age 77, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Belle Vernon, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 4, 2023. Tom was born on Friday, June 8, 1945, in Monesson to the late James Rizzutto and Sophie Helen (Widiszewski) Rizzutto. Tom was the widower of Lucette "Luci" Marie (Spahr) Rizzutto, whom he married on March 30, 1996, and who died on December 23, 2020. In addition to his parents and wife, Tom is preceded in death by his brother, James "Jimmy" Rizzutto, and his sister, Patricia "Patty" Aubrey.
Tom's survivors include his two children: Steven Rizzutto and his wife, Christa, of Mechanicsburg; Lisa Ann Falenski and her husband, Andy, of Etters; his three step-children: Brian Ebersole and his wife, Amanda, of Mechanicsburg; Dana (Ebersole) Budraitis and her husband, John, of Harrisburg; Amy Woodward and her significant other, Mike, of Middletown; his five grandchildren: Hannah, Maddy, Nick, Emma and Reese; his three step-grandchildren: Sullivan Jon, Aiden and Westin; his two great-grandchildren: Dominick and Braydon; his brother, Michael "Mickey" Rizzutto of Cleveland, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to join Tom's family at his gathering of family and friends on Friday, February 17, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m. at Buhrig Funeral Home & Crematory, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Celebrant George A. Spangler officiating. Interment will be at the family's convenience in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville. Cremation was private.
