Thomas William Ross, aged 79, departed this life on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. He was the cherished husband of the late Cheryl Joy Ross for 37 years. He was the loving father of Brian (Gean) Ross, Michael (Lauren Zistler) Ross, and Greg (Michelle) Ross. He was the proud grandfather of Dylan (Jeremy) Brenner-Levoy, Dominique (Tega) Dodson, Daven Ross, Hayden Ross, Hunter Ross, Cherylynn Ross, Xander Ross, and the late Bailey Ross, Maddy Ross, and Cate Ross. He was also the great-grandfather of Aailyah Dodson. Born on January 15, 1945, to the late Frank and Matilda "Tillie" Ross, he was the brother of Linda Funk and the Buddy Ross and Pat Price. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Tom was a 1963 graduate of Deer Park High School. He was a dedicated family man and worked tirelessly for them, retiring after 43 years of employment at Ford Motors. His faith in God was steadfast, and he was a parishioner of St. John Catholic Church.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will follow the next day, Thursday, at 11:30 am. Both will take place at Staley-Strawser Funeral Home, 7140 Plainfield Road, Deer Park, OH 45236.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help defray the funeral costs. These can be made through the link provided on the obituary page. Condolences can be shared at www.staleyfuneralhome.com.
